Catch-All Two

Add Dr. Phil McGoo to the list of coddled celebrities, crystal meth persuasion, and Micro$oft $trike$-out with yet another product. We suggest a better alternative that doesn't involve enriching the greedy hothead $teve Ballbu$ter in Redmond.

Catch-All One

Show note, life note on a total lack of kindness from folks you'd expect so much better from, another attempt by unions to organize at Wal-Mart and the immediate manure in response from Bentonville, remembering Don Adams, and Laura just smiles her way through a life where money means more than caring.

The Poop on Sirius, cont'd.

What Sirius is doing to comedy is a tragedy, why an exec there apparently lives in a NYC vacuum, a world of his own, and how it seems to be indicative of a company in trouble.

Hot Yentertainment News

Britney gives birth and immediately parLAYS it into big TV money as the countdown to Kevin's leaving her begins, Kenny Chesney assures all the little ladies that he'll be okay despite the breakup of his four month marriage to Rennee Z., Reality Richie in trouble with the law again, and a classic TV show remembered two decades later. This show runs long; I could've carved it up into two, but I was on a roll. Please indulge me, I think it's time well-spent. Enjoy.

Best,

Ketchup on Showbiz 3

Simple question: journalism or showbiz? It _can't_ be both, regardless of how much money you have, how much your ass gets kissed, or how ignorant the people watching are. Edward R. Murrow would not do an ad for cell phones. Also, fun show #140 explores the concept of 'Jumping the Shark.'

Ketchup on Showbiz 2

A new 'bundle of joy' arrives at the self-indulgent, no conscience home of the Seinfelds, Ru$$ell Crowe $ettle$ with the guy he thre the phone at, MTM - America's sweetheart before and more so than Julia - due back on TV, 70s style again, and paying real close sttention to the Skoal ring on Gretchen Wilson's ass. Also, anti-war songs starting to appear and starting to turn some heads; now can we maybe start yelling louder, learn something from the 60s???

Ketchup on Showbiz 1

Re-posting this one; some may not have received it. Sorry for any duplication.
Madonna down-to-earth, Hollywood counters a weak year at the box office with the use of smaller boxes to get more of your money, the folks at Variety enter the world of mass market mags, and Soleil Moooon Pye bears the fruit of some guy's loins.

Topical Paradise

Not the most cheery week for news, as we embark upon September, so on show 137, we just relax.
