Always Magic... (4)
The scary genius of rock 'n' roll, peeling away the layers of our culture, the true magic of this music, and the disonance of the shameful Judith Miller and what's up at the 'Newspaper of Record.'

Like, the Showbiz News
Stevie Wonder resurfaces, Pink ties the knot with a prominent Vegas entrepreneur, Madonna visits NYC and looks like crap. Also, Kelly Ripa's clothing allowance, Al Roker's brilliant reality TV concept, Michael starts packin' for Bahrain, and his sister Janet is outed as a mommie.

Promo Seltzer
It's #172! Doing this show is a joy, even hunting down the material for it (hey, I'm a librarian: finding info's my job). The tuff nut to crack in this podcast biz, tho', is promotion. How do I spread the word, grow the audience, make it bigger? Some ideas and show notes.

Your Table is Waiting
A look at a fun story from the local newspaper - but really 'duplicated' in cities all over the world - prompts one to ask about a particular group of usually small business owners: how freakin' stupid do these people think we are???

Yentertainment News
Love that Lisa Lampanelli, an Arab version of The Simpsons debuts, blessed event for Dr. Mayim Bialik, Nelly Furtado's back in the studio, and Boy George hits bottom again. Also, ASSlee Simpson's new CD and bra, Babs Streisand's new CD, Ronald Isley's tax troubles, and actress Keira Knightley's butt.

We'll Always Have Paris?
All kinds of 'Paris things' to report: a fan letter to MNG from the City of Lights, bony, dopey Ms. Hilton tries to mend fences with Nicole...because she realizes the dispute was so petty, or maybe to ensure that The Simple [-Minded] Life lives on? Also, Fox says no to the show, so the producers are shopping it to the WB and NBC, where Matt L's probably already bending over, and Paris makes the cover of two prestigious mags.

The Ultimate Hookup?
Results of a new Playgirl mag poll have me wondering what the heck I am: a woman's ideal? A scruffy, manly man? An out-of-date metrosexual? None of the above??? Consider the facts and let me know what you think.

The News
It's show 164: woweeee! No encore for Kerry, please, a Russian psychic who probably is much less wooden than Kerry, and a new London tourist attraction in the works that will be a whole lot more fun than standing in a crowd waitin' for a glimpse of Prince Chuckie.

Sunday Wrap-Up
It's show 162, where we hear just a few more sound bytes from the trip to Yatlanta, and the plague of sycophancy hits hard where we'd least expect it: 'the academy.'

On Loquation Some More
Gettin' too cheesy, backing out of a CNN tour, downtown restaurant pricing, important hotel travel advice, but the free "entertainment" it prevents; my 'luck' seems to prevent it, regardless.

Yentertainment News Jackpot
Lookout, stand back, I'm on a roll. Y'couldn't make stuff up this good. Paris and Paris: full of contradictions (among other things), Fantasia didn't write the book, Demi and Asston nuptial details, Tara Reid's career, Whitney Houston's choppers, precautions for the Stones tour, and child rearing wisdom from Courtney Love's dad.
